SCARVES & SHIRTS

How to show us love, to keep your timeless treasures living a long and happy life.

With every scarf, you will receive a small dust bag, which we recommend you use when storing or transporting your scarf when it is not in use. This will ensure the scarf is protected.
(the bag can also be used to store lots of other things to – it’s a handy little bag to have!)

Your scarf can be hand washed or taken to the dry cleaners but your hand printed shirt should only be hand washed.

Hand wash each piece separately in cold water with a delicates detergent.

Due to the hand dyed and printed nature of the shirts, colours may run slightly for the first few washes - don’t be alarmed if this happens.

Drip dry and hang or lay flat out of direct sunlight.

If needed iron on a low steam setting.

To get rid of a few creases, ironing it on the reverse on a low/appropriate iron setting for silk will do the trick!

Try to avoid contact with jewellery or rough surfaces as this could cause pulling and the silk fibres to be damaged.

Lotions, oils and perfume (being sprayed directly onto the scarf) can cause discolouration.

When hanging your scarf (unframed) please be aware that overtime sun exposure can cause fading.

PRINTS

Your print will arrive in a cardboard tube. We recommend removing it from the tube as soon as possible ideally to a framers
or into a frame to avoid excess curling.

We recommend that your print is framed behind glass or acrylic to make sure it stays dust free.

However, if you do decide to hang your piece without glass try and keep it away from direct sunlight to avoid the colours being bleached out and lightly dust the surface of the paper

with a dry duster or even better a feather duster.

Do not use a wet or damp cloth on the paper as this will ruin the print.
