I believe in celebrating the beauty of a less, but better lifestyle. Creating collections that move away from fast-fashion, and are not confined by commercial trends, but lead by the soul. Creating a more conscious consumer mindset by designing timeless, versatile pieces that you can invest in and treasure for years to come.
Pieces that you can adapt as your style changes and evolves, pieces that can grow with you.

Limited Editions

There is so much waste within fashion. Consumers over buying, retailers buying large quantities of stock because it’s cheaper than producing smaller quantities, which in-turn ends up being dumped in landfill or burnt.

I wanted to move away from that need to mass produce, only having small quantities of stock, creating less waste and in-turn, less impact on our environment. So, I decided to make collections that are limited edition ranges that won’t ever be repeated, which makes each piece that extra bit special!

Suppliers

It is really important to me to source everything from production to packaging within the UK, so as to eliminate any unnecessary carbon footprints.

The scarves are designed from my studio in London and are printed with Azo dye free inks and made within the UK, with a company who manufacture wholly in Great Britain. Despite working with the same suppliers for 30 years, they regularly send someone to visit the weaving mills so they can see for themselves the ethical working conditions.

Packaging

You will only ever receive your scarf in packaging that is totally plastic free, using as much recycled material as possible, and of course everything is reusable, recyclable and degradable.

The packaging boxes are made from 75% recycled material and the rest from FSC managed forests, and what’s even better is the tape can be recycled along with the box…. you don’t have to faff around and remove it first. The scarves are wrapped in acid free tissue paper that can again be recycled.

Each scarf comes with its own little dust bag, made from 100% natural, unbleached, cotton. They can be can used to store your scarf or reused as a small travel bag…. or anything really, they’re pretty handy to have! However, the bags are 100% biodegradable and completely compostable. The best way to make sure they compost quickly – cut the fabric into small squares (the smaller the better) and add the pieces to the ‘wetter’ fresher items like food or garden waste so they break down faster.

The handwritten thank you cards, and certificate of authenticity are both made from 100% recycled uncoated paper and printed with eco-toners/vegetable oil-based inks.

Our bubble wrap used to protect our framed scarves is degradable and breaks down quickly in landfill - or even better, you could keep and reuse!

The company that supplies the packaging really helps out small businesses, like me, by having small order numbers which means no excess packaging and it also turns up totally plastic free as well….aaaaand every time I do an order with them, they plant a tree. Perfect!

Creating a fully sustainable brand is definitely a process, I’m not there yet but I’m committed and open to making changes, so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, suggestions and tips, or you just want to say hey!
